LIFE

LIFE
In different lives
they find that it can be sad
the grayness in the sky
the crawl of the water into your shoes
leaving your toes cold and wet
Rain
But is it really the drops that tumble down
or the clouds that sometimes seem like they will never lift
No its the feelings that are inside ourselves
will we let them control us or will we control them
Emotions
Only when the rain comes
is when we get to see the beauty that comes after
we see the full glory of the blue Sky's as the rainbow falls to the valley below
and its when the sunsets the stars decide to give us a show
Nature
Only when we let the light fall into our hearts
that's when people will see the beauty inside us
and we will see it for our own self
Growth
After troubling times
only then is when we see the blessings within
The cleansed soul
Happiness

Magic Treasure

I have not been doing much after Nightmare, just reading, movies and Masks. Its strange how quickly your body and mind grab a hold of something and how it just wont let it go. Whether its a real life person, a characters life in a book, places that you have been and how the feelings you have for whatever hang over you like a snow cloud ( I would have said a rain cloud but I like the rain) and the sun cant cut through. I'm not trying to sound like life is dreary or anything like that. I'm saying that god created us to have a detailed and twisted feelings and its a puzzle to unravel and find the magic treasure inside. Like he himself is cutting and polishing us up for something better in the future. Its a mystery that wont be solved in one TV episode, it will take a life time of ups and downs. Maybe the the feelings we have are there to inspire us to focus on our dreams and complete them, not to discourage us.

Hmmmmm(clear of the throat)....... I just stepped down from my soap box.

Hope everything is going well for my readers and friends

Love you all.

Monday, October 18, 2010

Have you been so tired that your brain just stop working, I know that mine has been in a state of pause for the pasted two weeks. lucky enough the things I do at both jobs you don't need a brain to do them. It seems now all I do is work, work and sleep. with any other free time, cleaning and going to church. I'm not saying I'm not enjoying doing nightmare and I will miss it when it ends but I really miss my sleep.

I have to say that working at nightmare is amazing, you throw a bunch of people from all walks of life and see how close we become. I feel so at home there. we can be ourselves and not feel like someone is judging us because we our all crazy, its great. it is funny to hear what other jobs people do outside of Nightmare. Some work in the health care area (I was thinking that I don't want them working on me), some are in the food industries, some go to school and some do nothing and yet we find a place in our life to scare people.

When it all ends we will go our different ways, until hopefully next year.

Emotion

I have never been in so much of a emotional hurricane as this year
I have felt it and Ive seen friends and family feel it.
I hate when I see the people I love hit hard times in their life and I cant do anything about it. I can only stand next to them and help hold them up but I don't feel that's enough.
I do understand that we have to sometimes fight our own battles but it hurts to see them out on the battlefield fighting a giant before them that makes them broken and beaten.
I also understand that the lord wont let us fight alone, he has given us the tools to win, we just have to put on the whole armor and stay focus and true to ourselves, other and our heavenly father.
it makes me think of Alice in that Shinny armor when she goes out to fight the jabberwocky.
We can do it.

Depression

Just so everyone knows that I kind of count this as a journal because I write whatever here when I have time during my lunch break. Plus sometimes I forget to write at home.

so here goes

I find that the more people I meet that there are many who are depressed

And I hate to be a jerk but they do it to themselves. This year has shown me many different types of depressed people and how they act out to other people. I found that its cause by one thing

"Selfishness"

If everyone who has depression and even if you don't, take the time to think of others and try to do an act of kindness your depression would slowly or quickly go away. Thinking of others makes you happy because you can see the change in the person your helping and that fills your soul with peace and happiness. kindness takes over the depression like light controls the darkness. Christ spent his whole life serving others and acting out of kindness and I dont believe he was ever depressed. He had his trials that he had to over come but the whole time he was thinking of Us. Why cant we spend 10 minutes or more on someone else. Just think about it when you our feeling down on your self.

ONE ACT OF KINDNESS CAN CHANGE SOMEONES OUT LOOK ON LIFE

Memory Maker

Im friend had this on her blog and it looked fun.
Reading the comments is the exceptionally entertaining bit. Here's what you do:1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you.

Then you may wonder why his daughter looks less than thrilled.

Suddenly she saw a silver flash in the air.

The barracuda had thrown the hook and grabbed her arm.

Father managed to kill the fish with a knife in the head.

In Remembrance of 9/11

The ' L I T T L E ' Things
As you might remember, the head of a company survived 9/11 because his son started kindergarten.
Another fellow was alive because it was His turn to bring donuts.
One woman was late because her Alarm clock didn't go off in time.
One was late because of being stuck on the NJ Turnpike Because of an auto accident.
One of them Missed his bus.
One spilled food on her clothes and had to take Time to change.
One's Car wouldn't start.
One couldn't Get a taxi.
The one that struck me was the man Who put on a new pair of shoes that morning, Took the various means to get to work But before he got there, he developed a blister on his foot. He stopped at a drugstore to buy a Band-Aid. That is why he is alive today..
Now when I am Stuck in traffic ,
Miss an elevator,
Turn back to answer a ringing telephone ...
All the little things that annoy me.
I think to myself, This is exactly where God wants me to be At this very moment..
Next time your morning seems to be Going wrong ,
You can't seem to find the car keys,
You hit every traffic light,
Don't get mad or frustrated;
It May be just that God is at work watching over you.
May God continue to bless you With all those annoying little things
And may you remember their possible purpose.

Turn

In the time of confusion and frustration, who do we turn to? The only person who knows exactly how we feel inside, Jesus Christ. He's the only one who can make the puzzle fall together and help us understand the meanings and teachings we are in need to learn. Yes it makes us feel angry and we cant always comprehend why its happenings to us, but there is a reason for everything. The best way to stand tall during our troubling time is on our knees in prayer, the Lord will lift us up to the highest heights when we kneel to pray.

Flat Tire (not for my mom, I know what you will say)

I had a flat tire Yesterday, so I got out of the car and opened the trunk. I took out my cardboard men, unfolded them and stood them at the rear of my car facing oncoming traffic. They look so life like you wouldn't believe it! Cars start slowing down looking at my lifelike men which made it safer for me to work at the side of the road. Traffic started backing up. Everybody is honking their horns and waving like crazy. It wasn't long before a state trooper pulled up behind me. 'What's going on here?' 'My car has a flat tire,' I said calmly. 'Well, what are those cardboard men doing here by the road?'

I couldn't believe that he didn't know, so I told him...
“Helloooooo, those are my Emergency Flashers.”

Softball

During the summer I play softball on two teams, Churchball ( that's always interesting) and city.
Last Night I was playing on my city team ( the Giants, even though we are all pretty small excepted for one person.) We were playing a team ( the Bruce), I find they are my favorite team to play and hears why.
1. They are always drunk at every game.
2. they make some of the funniest comments.
3. they are just cool.

well last night we started the game and we were the visitors so we were up to bat first. first up was Tanner and he hit the ball between shortstop and left. he made it to first base. I came up to next, I did my practice swing, measured and set my footing. The first ball was a strike, but your not suppose to hit the first one so I let it by. Second Ball I pulled to far left and it went foul. I'm thinking last chance, I cant have a good one go by. the ball was coming in high and I hit a grounder right to shortstop and I was thinking I was going to be out, but right at the last moment the grounder took a different direction. Right up into the guys face. you Could hear the crack all around the field. Two things came to my mind, Good thing he's drunk, but he will feel it in the morning. and my other thought, My bad. I walked to first base as there was a time out. the guy stumbled around for a moment, lended up and wanted to continue playing. at the end of the game which we won, I got a close look at his face, I had split his eye brow open, the thing that saved him from having it worst was his flaming red sunglasses. ( he was more worried about his glasses then his face), but all at the same time he was drunk. Yeah drunks.

Jobs

There is a job that opened up where I work. Ive known about it before the person who originally occupied the position moved to another department. Now I was not planning on applying for the job for a couple of reason,

One- a few of my friends are applying for the job

Two- I'm very comfortable were I'm at.

But with people asking(boss's and the person who would be my boss if i got the position) if I put my application in, I decided that it could hurt. Oh I mean would not hurt.
If its the right thing the lord will provide and if not then I would still have my job that I have now. Plus We need change in our lives other wise life will get boring and we will get Alzheimer's. Go Puzzle's
So my application has been put in and I wait to hear back to see if I have a interview coming up.
What will happen, I don't know? Will I get a raise, I don't know? Would I like a raise, Heck Yes.

I Need A Hero

My friends and I have determined that there are very few good guys left out there. They are Dads, grandpas, brother, Married, or gay.

And in the words of Bonnie Tyler

"Where have all the good men gone
And where are all the gods?
Where's the street-wise Hercules
To fight the rising odds?
Isn't there a white knight upon a fiery steed? ( I like this line)
Late at night I toss and turn and dream of what I need

I need a hero
I'm holding out for a hero 'til the end of the night
He's gotta be strong
And he's gotta be fast
And he's gotta be fresh from the fight
I need a hero
I'm holding out for a hero 'til the morning light
He's gotta be sure
And it's gotta be soon
And he's gotta be larger than life"

Where have they gone, is it like the last unicorn where there is just one left and we have to fight for him. We all want the good guy, but they make such dumb choices. It happens to be very frustrating, and I just want to slap them and tell them to get their act TOGETHER. Most women have high standards for men and we should not lower them for anything less then the best and I expect then men to think the same. I know that men and women are not perfect, but we can strive to be.

I just I will just wait for the lords time in bringing me an almost perfect man.

Name a few good qualities of a Men or Woman.

Blur

I find that during the summer and fall days begin to blur together, because of all the the activities that are going on around me. Not that I'm complaining about it, I love being so busy (to be honest I don't get into trouble that way) and when I do get to relax it really is a treat and not a every day thing.

I just have to balance things out, between family, friends, church, sports, music and institute(just to name a few).

Where does time go?

Then the question comes to mind.
Do I have my priories in the right order?

For right now I think so, will it change later heck yes it will.

Stupid People

I just hate stupid people.
They should have to wear signs that just say I'm stupid.
That way you wouldn't rely on them, would you?
You wouldn't ask them anything. It would be like, "Excuse me...oops,
never mind"
"I didn't see your sign."

Have you ever heard this song called "here's your sign"
well if not the start of it is just above but if you want to read more look online.

I have started to feel there are more and more stupid people and not enough intelligent ones in this world. I just want to print out a bunch of signs and place them on peoples back.

What is happening is it our government, our school systems, drugs, alcohol what is the deal.

Ward Choir

A few months a go, I was put in as the director of my church Choir.I want to make the choir come alive and show to people that we have talent and that we would love to have more people come and sing. So I have been coming up with new ideas, songs and have been using them. yesterday was are first performance with me directing the choir. we have been working hard on a song called "hymns of Love Medley" its a beautiful song and the choir sang it to perfection. I was so happy to see that when we get a group of people together from all walks of life that we can pull together and sound so great. I can wait to see what else we can do. THEY SOUNDED SO GREAT.....

Dreams

I don't know about you but I take my dreams very seriously. Dreams from my imagination can be uplifting to down right scary. Normal nights I have great dreams but on rare nights the demons come out to play. I had one of those dreams last night,

In my dream we were not human but some kind of brightly colored furry creature, small in height, short fluffy tails and big colorful eyes. We lived in a community home as a closely knitted family ( I don't think any one was really related, maybe a brother sister here and there but mostly friends). From one of the colored fur balls point of view the home was a fun place of peace and then all of a sudden life was flipped upside down and creatures from the under world sent by the devil himself to destroy the happiness that was here in the tiny little home. The devil's servants were tall and darker then night its self and the eyes on this demon was blood red and claws that could pierce through any shield or protection.

Sad to say but the little guys scattered out of their home and found themselves to be surrounded by these demons and where quickly pick up and thrown into cages or tied up not to be destroyed physical but spiritually, instead of faith hope and happiness the devil wanted hatred pride and greed to take over the creatures of peace.

There was one who saw what was happening to her family and friends who started to climb to the highest point of there home. running up the stairs and into a bedroom, but this was not going to be an easy task, one of the devil servants caught the scent of her as she through open the window to climb out on the seal and up the side of the house to the next window to avoid running into the creatures of hell as they search. without her knowledge one was still one her tail higher and higher she went in hopes of escape the ability to save her spirituality and others.

She finally made it to the roof to see the sadness in the eyes of her friend as they were carried away to hell. The house began to shake and a fist came through the roof, shingles and wood pieces sprayed this frighten creature as she tryed to figure out what she was gooding to do.
The demon was pulling the roof down piece by piece and all she could do was look to the heavens......

All of a sudden a loud noise went off and my dream disappered into thin air only leaving my heart racing and my alarm going off( and a good idea for a new mask).

Tell me your dreams.

I will add to it as I take more photos of my work. Plus if anyone is wondering if they can get one customized let me know.

So long Brian

This is not to make people sad, but to tell you about the Life of Brian who passed away yesterday morning from cancer.

Brian and I became close friends from the time we met, he led a life of faith and hope. Always looking out for other people and always serving god.

With in the first month of knowing him, he showed me that there is so much to see in life. That life is not to be wasted with idleness. He also taught me that god is always with us in times of struggle and to always have faith and hope.

He was young, but grew to be a spiritual giant to all. I will remember him for being a great influence in my life and someone I will always look up to.

I'm glad that he now is free and ready to serve the lord from his broken down body.

I Love You Brian. You will be in my heart and mind till we meet again.

My racing years

From a childs point of view.

As a little kid of five-ish, we had a little red motorized scooter and many of the days that we rode the scooter I was sitting on the back as Haley, Captain, or Marshall was driving. Now on one glorious days Haley got the bright idea to let me drive as she sat on the back. Being my first time driving I had know Idea what to do except to make the scooter speed up ( no clue that there was a brake). We let her rip.. well I should say I let her rip and off we went. Now because speed is the best thing and to have the wind blowing in our hair, I forgot to steer and all i heard was Haley yelling "let up on the gas" let up on what gas. Being five I had no worries, but Haley had a few going through her head( I found this out a few years later). She had these worries,

1- We cant hit our dad work truck

2 - we will die if we run over mom's garden

3-we will hurt ourselves if we hit the house

so there was only one option left, THE frog and poo infested POND. Haley grabs ahold of the handles of this little red scooter turned us into the pond. Now I dont remember much from this point on ( I dont know why) but from what my dad told me after he pulled haley and I from the wreckage that I was still pushing that scooter to the limits with it on top of both of us. the amazing thing with that scooter it still ran after a couple of gallons of water in its system and maybe a few frogs ( frog legs yumm).

Trust

I always wondered why people all around the world are stealing, murdering, lieing, cheating etc.... but I really did not think about it happening to me. I don't understand how a friend that you love and trust would turn and stab you in the back and many others. A person who would do such a thing has lead a poor and pathetic life with nothing to look forward but hatred and pain. Yes it hurts to be stab but the real hurt will be coming from this person's cold dark heart.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that some people are out to mess other peoples lives up so that they can feel good about themselves, but where are they going in life. NO Where.

Its through friends and family that makes this life worth living and without them there is nothing. Thanks to the gospel in my life I see that's the only way I should live my life and that its not my right to judge those who do wrong to myself and others.

Thanks for letting me vent.

Ukulele POWER

Saturday the 20Th of February, I spend a quiet night with just a few of my friends talk and playing the Ukulele. And it was that night that I found out the Ukulele is now one of my favorite musical instruments to play, in fact I like it so much that I am going out tonight to buy one. The great thing about them is that they are easy to play and you can cart them around anywhere and have great music.
Look out music World, the ukulele is taking over.

Big Choices, Lots of Money

Well its been a while since I have lasted blogged sorry. Trying to find something funny or exciting is a bit difficult at this moment in my life.
The last few months Haley and Nate have been looking at home to buy and I have been lucky enough to go with them on a few occasions. Over the passed year and a half- Haley, Nate, Mom, Dad and a few others have been hinting ( their hints are like atomic bombs) that I should buy a house. Finally I have started to look into buying a home here in Utah. The thought is very exciting, but all at the same time I'm terrified because I'm afraid of doing this alone. I know I
have family and friends to help me along the way but in the end it falls on my shoulder to complete the task at hand.
Does anyone have any suggestions to making buying a house easier and not so stressful.
