John Gebhardt's wife, Mindy, said that this little girl's entire family was executed. The insurgents intended to execute the little girl also, and shot her in the head...but they failed to kill her.
She was cared for in John 's hospital and is healing up, but continues to cry and moan. The nurses said John is the only one who seems to calm her down, so John has spent the last four nights holding her while they both slept in that chair. The girl is coming along with her healing. He is a real Star of the war, and represents what the combined services are trying to do.

Even though Im happy to have a new car, there is one that Im worried about.

He has been my boy for the passed 2 1/2 years and today I have put him up for sell.

I know that he is a car, but not just any car.

He has been my friend and traveling companion.

Yes he had to get a little work on him and it made me mad

but he stayed with me.

Karaoke

Last week a small group of us came together to karaoke at the local applebees( we are of the age to go to a bar but we dont go there). We sang and goofed around for two and a half hours. we were the loudest table there and people loved the fact that we were having fun and enjoying the musical talents that some people have and dont. It helped others to clap and cheer with other having fun. Because of the great time we had, we plan on going more often to applebee to sing and this Thursday we plan on going again and the group is getting larger.

Thank goodness that 2010 is over

For the first time in my life, Ive been very thankful that a whole year is over. It seemed like everything was coming in twos
two moves
two guy problems
two car problems
two times stabbed in the back.

im not saying that the whole year was bad just most of it.
im thankful that I found nightmare
im thankful that i moved in with great people
im thankful that I know how to fix cars
im thankful that I found out that the guys were bums
im thankful that I was able to learn.
im thankful that the lord had his hand in all things

The best part is that I have a bright new year to look forward to.
